According to the European Parliament, the circular economy is a model of production and consumption, which involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products as long as possible.
According to IGI Global, sustainable entrepreneurship is a business strategy focused on increasing value for society, the environment and the company or business.
Circular economy and sustainable entrepreneurship are important to be implemented to help ensure responsible businesses which can secure the environment and society from negative impacts. The capacity building about sustainable entrepreneurship and the circular economy will be really useful especially for the young people to develop and improve their knowledge and skill to create better quality of lives, and as well build new opportunities that can be used to create decent jobs for all.
In this programme, there are some main aims need to be achieved such as:
Introduce to participants the circular economy and sustainable entrepreneurship concepts.
Provide information about the importance of the circular economy and sustainable entrepreneurship concepts for the future market.
Develop awareness about circular economy and sustainable entrepreneurship to tackle climate change and environmental issues, also provide opportunities to support EU Green Deal Plan.
Provide some examples about some successful businesses around the world that implemented circular economy and sustainable entrepreneurship concepts.
